Race and Racism are the lie and the truth. The BWS Undoing Racism community continues our work in relationship and in unpacking confounding and complicated relationship of our country's history and inherited legacy of racism and how racism shows up within all our institutions, relationships, and ourselves. The BWS Undoing Racism community, began in early 2017 as a place to reflect on the Undoing Racism Workshop experience (the next URW at our school is scheduled for February). The UR monthly meetings are grounded in building relationships as we develop shared language and understanding of race and racism. The UR monthly meetings continue to evolve as a space to connect, heal, reflect, share culture, and organize as a community committed to Undoing Racism and humanity for all our children, families, teachers, staff, neighbors, and beyond. All are welcome.
