Admissions Process:

Apply for the 2026-2027 school year via the links above or click here. We have limited spots in select programs for the current 2025-2026 school year. Please contact admissions to inquire.
2. Financial Aid
Complete a financial aid/tuition assistance request if needed.
3. Meet With Us
We will then contact you to schedule a Meet and Greet for Early Childhood and Grade 1 applicants or class visit days for Grades 2-8 applicants.
4. Decision
We will notify you of admissions decisions in accordance with the ISAAGNY notification schedule.

Program Age Consideration:

Early Childhood
Children who are 2.8 years old by the beginning of the school year/3 years old by the end of the calendar year may be considered for our Nursery program. Children who are 3 to 6 years old may be considered for our mixed-age Kindergarten classes. - Lower & Middle School:
Children who are 6 years old by June 1st are considered for our Grade 1; children who are 7 years old by June 1st are considered for our Grade 2, and onwards.
Email admissions@brooklynwaldorf.org with any questions you may have. Age requirements are used as a guideline, and many factors are taken into consideration during the admissions process.
Early Notification
(Nursery - Grade 8)
The following categories of applicants may apply for early notification:
- Sibling of a current Brooklyn Waldorf School student
- Child of a current Brooklyn Waldorf School Faculty member
- Child of a Brooklyn Waldorf School alumnus
- Student applying for transfer from another Waldorf institution
- 2025-2026 Under 3 and Me participant
Early Notification Dates and Deadlines:
Application Deadline: Friday, November 24, 2025
Admissions Decision: Friday, December 5, 2025
Reply Deadline: Friday, December 12, 2025
Please note: Applying for admissions is not immediately binding. To accept an offered seat, families must submit a completed Enrollment Agreement and non-refundable deposit by the reply deadline.
