Grades Camp Description

Welcome to the Brooklyn Waldorf School’s Phoenix Summer Camp, where eco-conscious fun and creativity meet! Our camp is designed to engage children in sustainable and environmentally-friendly crafts and activities that encourage exploration, experimentation, and self-expression.

Under the guidance of Mr. Manny and other BWS teachers, campers will have the opportunity to create unique and beautiful sculptures using recycled materials. By transforming what might have been trash into works of art, children will develop a deeper appreciation for sustainability and the importance of preserving our planet for future generations.

Our indoor and outdoor arts and crafts activities will allow children to explore their creativity in a variety of ways. Whether they’re working with paints, clay, or other materials, our teachers will encourage them to experiment and discover their own unique artistic vision.

In addition to our creative endeavors, we’ll also take time to explore our neighborhood and experience it in new and exciting ways.

From trips to local parks to visits to community gardens and farmers’ markets, we’ll discover the beauty and diversity of our area while learning about the importance of sustainability and environmental stewardship.

Join us for a summer of fun, creativity, and eco-conscious adventure at the Brooklyn Waldorf School’s Phoenix Summer Camp!
