The success of our children and our school depends upon the generosity of families and members from the surrounding community. Waldorf education is a participatory experience for all family members, not just the enrolled students. The development of the children in the classroom requires that the work can continue seamlessly into the home. And it requires that all members of the family lend a hand to support the work that is being done in school.
All families provide active volunteer support throughout the year. This can come in the form of teacher and classroom support, chaperoning field trips, serving on committees, and myriad other ways in which the particular passions and expertise of the parent community can benefit the needs of the school.
BWS also depends on the generosity of families during our many annual fundraisers. Tuition alone does not cover the cost of educating our students. We depend upon the financial generosity of families and organizations to meet our annual expenses and to grow toward a more robust future.
