What is the May Fair?

The May Fair is an annual festival that celebrates the Spring. Families make flower crowns, sing songs, and students dance around the Maypole. The May Fair is celebrated in Waldorf schools throughout the world.

What is the Scootathon?

The Scootathon is an annual event where parents, teachers, staff, students, and friends scoot laps in Prospect Park to raise funds for the school. It promotes environmentally friendly modes of transportation, community building, and is a whole lot of fun!

Fundraising for Scootathon

Historically, Scootathon is an important annual fundraiser for the Brooklyn Waldorf School. All proceeds go towards the BWS tuition assistance program, which helps a majority of our families. Visit our fundraising page to help us reach our goal; we appreciate your support! Take a look at our Scootathon FAQ page for more details!
