“BWS graduates are recognized in high school as students who strive for excellence, are unafraid to take risks and value the viewpoints, experiences and feelings of others.”
– Cynthia Hammond, BWS parent, Class of 2014
Graduates of the Brooklyn Waldorf School are eagerly sought after by an exceptional group of independent, public and parochial schools. Nonetheless, the community at the Brooklyn Waldorf School measures the success of our graduates not simply by the secondary schools which our students attend, but above all by their accomplishments at their chosen schools.
Our graduates are valued and respected by their secondary school communities for their joyful passion for learning, as well as for their wide-ranging interests. They bring to their new communities a talent for reflective, critical thinking, and the ability to strive for their best results while working cohesively with others.
Our aim is always to support the development of curious, creative and respectful learners who move with joy and confidence towards the challenges of secondary school and young adulthood.
