Admissions Process

We welcome your first steps in the enrollment journey.

Use this page as a guide and note the key dates and requirements that may differ from our peer schools in NYC. Please contact admissions if you have questions.


Applications for the 2018-2019 school year were due December 4, 2017.

Contact Admissions for information about classes with rolling admissions.


We begin considering your child’s enrollment once you’ve completed these steps:

  1. Take a tour. Spring 2018 tours are held on March 7th, April 11th and May 9th. Fall 2018 tours will resume in September: please email admissions to be placed on a list to receive the tour schedule for the 2019-2020 school year admissions process.

  2. Apply.

  3. Send all supplemental application documents, as necessary.

  4. Complete the Parent Financial Statement (PFS) for tuition assistance, if needed, by January 5, 2018.

  5. Wait for admissions staff to schedule play dates, interviews and class visits and attend these events as they are calendared.


In February/March (dates set by ISAAGNY), we will contact you by letter.  Your steps then:

  1. Receive admission decision letter via email, including tuition assistance level, if applicable.

  2. If your child is accepted for enrollment and you intend to reserve a seat in the class, send us your non-refundable tuition deposit and affirmative response by the date stated in your decision letter (usually within two weeks).

  3. If your child is not accepted for enrollment, may your year be filled with learning and joy wherever your journey takes you.
