The quality of the classroom spaces is among the most exciting features of Claver Castle. In particular, the grades school classrooms are well proportioned and receive abundant natural light.

Claver Castle includes a number of terraces that allow for indoor and outdoor educational experiences to be integrated. In addition, two exterior spaces at ground level provide opportunities for children to tend the soil, grow herbs, fruits and vegetables, and simply play with soil, sand, water, stones and wood.

The expansive garden-level space will be configured to provide specialty learning rooms in areas as varied as woodwork, pottery, sciences and languages; a full school kitchen and cafeteria; a library; and various community meeting spaces.

The first level includes a large theater stage and a gymnasium with a full-sized basketball court. This space provides us with the exciting opportunity to offer a full athletic program as well as cultural performance both within the School and to the neighborhood and broader Brooklyn community.

The stunning top-floor conservatory room will be the setting for performance, speech and movement classes and will be the jewel in the crown of The Brooklyn Waldorf School at Claver Castle.
