A unique celebration of winter:

The annual Winter Fair at the Brooklyn Waldorf School is an event that opens the creative richness of The Brooklyn Waldorf School to the public and the greater Brooklyn Waldorf School community.

This event marks a critical time in the season when people need to turn their attention to the warmth of friends, families and community. The Brooklyn Waldorf School Winter Fair creates a magical setting for this time, with a unique splendor that is unforgettable to anyone who attends.

In the days leading up to the Winter Fair, the block of 126 St. Felix Street transforms into a haven of winter spirit. The enchanting Brooklyn Waldorf School “Winter Windows” countdown the days to the fair when, on December 6th the street is transformed into a Winter Village—abounding in crafts, food, winter decoration, activities, performances, and genuine community enthusiasm.

An invitation to join the community:

100 Craft and Food vendors were selected this year and are being asked to participate in the Winter Fair. We invite you to join our community and join the excitement. The Craft and Food Vendor tables will fill the outdoor Winter Village under a heated pavilion, where 1000s of attendees will throng and browse before, between, and after the many events that fill the day. In return we will ask a table fee of $100.

In only its first few years, The Brooklyn Waldorf School has established and nurtured a wonderfully rich and quickly-growing community of families and friends who share the good will, warmth and support of each other throughout the many school-related events and activities that happen all year long. In joining the Winter Fair you join this growing community, which seeks to foster the efforts of all its members in new and innovative ways.
